Originally from India, Gunjan's journey in the world of gems and jewelry began with earning a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and studying jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Her commitment to excellence and a keen eye for beauty led her to establish Shukra Jewels in the heart of New York City, where she continues to push the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship.
